Steve began his study in piano technology while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston.  After returning to Pennsylvania he began his career working for several music stores in the area before eventually becoming completely self-employed.

In 1997 he became the head technician at West Chester University College of Music where he was in charge of all concert  prep work and maintaining their inventory of 120 pianos and 2 harpsichords.

During this time he completed course work in piano technology at the Steinway factory in Queens, NY.

In 2007, Steve decided it was time to go back to what he loves best: servicing pianos in customers' homes.
